Vision Care includes a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function, such as blurred vision or eye discomfort.
Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have a periodic, comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on one's particular needs.
When we do eye exams, we refuse to cut corners. We always schedule ample time so you will never feel rushed. Here at Preston Optometry Center we provide the most comprehensive, the best, most thorough eye health exam in the entire region! We provide complete eye care for both adults and children.
Our comprehensive eye examinations check your eyes inside and out for glaucoma, cataracts and all other eye diseases as well as high blood pressure, diabetes and other systemic diseases. Your visual skills and abilities are carefully evaluated and we pride ourselves on the accuracy of our eyeglass prescriptions. In spite of our track record for highly accurate prescriptions, there are eyes that can be unstable for reasons ranging from medications to illness.
A dilated pupil examination allows us to provide the best assessment of eye health. It is recommended for all new patients and on a scheduled basis thereafter. We use minimum strength dilation drops to make vision recovery quicker.
